First Capital Connect have published their Thameslink service statistics for the Jan/Feb period.
Following the abysmal service experienced over the Dec/Jan period (when only 62.8% of trains reached their final destination less than five minutes late) First capital Connect continue to disappoint with only 76.8% of training running ‘on time’ in Jan/Feb.
It was also revealed that 8.3% of trains were cancelled for part or all of their journey across the whole FCC network. I Hate Thameslink has previously pointed out that FCC do not reveal how many cancellations occurred on the Thameslink route alone which we feel they should.

FCC Fiddling stats in their favour and leave Passengers out in the cold!
Earlier today FCC decided to run trains non-stopping through Flitwick, Harlington and Leagrave because of an “earlier operating incident”.
The true reason why FCC decided to cut out booked station stops was to avoid then paying fines for late running and to massage their performance figures.
The way FCC managed the situation was very clever to their utmost advantage: (1) Not paying out compensation to passengers for delays (2) Massaging “on-time” stats (3) up yours to passengers.
email moir.lockhead@firstgroup about poor service!
PS
The compensation of £1m to be paid to Thameslink passengers is chicken feed compared to the groups profits. The Government now should implement the break clause in the franchise agreement to get rid of FCC.
Surely as they are separate franchises they should be reported separately as they are for punctuality. Then again as FCC are so bad on T/L one can assume they are no better on GN either
