Not only has the services been abysmal, on more than one occasion I have been shunted from one train to another (normally Gatwick or Haywards Heath) as FCC take removes previously billed stops in an attempt (I suspect) to fiddle their performance figures. In addition to this (a) the state of the trains is filthy, and (b) the heating is non-existent on the old rolling stock. I am given to understand this is due to removal of some heaters and fuses being downgraded to a lower current carrying capability.
